Over the past month at Walpole Dunn HQ, our team has been expanding! Just over a month ago we welcomed to the team our new Marketing Executive, Georgie Bower. This month, we are pleased to welcome our new Apprentice Accountant, Ernesta Grabyte.
Georgie is a recent graduate from Royal Holloway University with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in History. She will soon be commencing her MA in Marketing and Digital Communications with the University of Falmouth. In her spare time, Georgie enjoys cooking, fashion and design, and gaming. Her favourite part of working at Walpole Dunn is the opportunities she’s been given to continuously expand her skillset.
Ernesta is a current student at Richard Huish college, studying Accounting. She has previously completed her Level 3 in Business. Outside of the office, Ernesta enjoys socialising, travelling (when it’s possible!) and going to the gym. Her favourite thing about Walpole Dunn so far is the office atmosphere and the friendly team.

Nurturing Talent
At Walpole Dunn, we are always excited to take on new talent and help develop our employees to become the best they can be. In 2019, we were even named winners of the ‘New to Apprenticeship’ award at the Somerset Apprenticeship Awards. We achieved this award through working with local education providers to supply a mixture of on-the-job training and practical exposure to real-world business.
After a tough year for all industries, we are pleased to be bringing young talent into the fold again. By taking this action, we hope to continue to nurture local talent through exceptional and personal mentorship, while growing our business and fully supporting our clients.
