In our efforts to raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice Care, the Walpole Dunn team have sponsored and participated in our most daring charity event to date; the St Margaret’s Hospice Firewalk!
On a chilly night at the Hospice centre in Taunton, we gathered with over 50 thrill seekers to take on the challenge. We were faced with a walkway of wood and coals at temperatures reaching more than 500℃! Our nerves were really tested.
Everyone in the team rose to the challenge. We were relieved to discover that the Firewalk was not as scary as it looked and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Tony Dunn described the event as “a fantastic evening of entertainment… I’m sure the spectators enjoyed watching six accountants brave the hot coals!”.
